Summer School 2011

      State Central Library,Thiruvanthapuram  conducts a summer camp for children from April 18th to May 18th. The focus theme of the camp is Vayana Rasakaram a programme to improve the reading skill of the children. A survey assessing the reading back ground of the children is planned. It is learned that the reading habits of parents  highly influence the children .Also early learning through English prevents interest of reading .Any kind of monitoring also an obstacle to read. suggest books .in Malayalam and English for the children
